update-grub black background image

리눅스 grub 배경 이미지 바꾸는 방법

update-grub

하면 아래와 같은 메시지 나옴.

Generating grub configuration file ...

Found background image: /usr/share/images/desktop-base/desktop-grub.png

Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-4.19.0-14-amd64

Found initrd image: /boot/initrd.img-4.19.0-14-amd64

배경 이미지는?

/usr/share/images/desktop-base/desktop-grub.png

ls -l /usr/share/images/desktop-base/desktop-grub.png

/etc/alternaties/desktop-grub

에 링크 되어 있다.

ls -l /etc/alternaties/desktop-grub

/usr/share/desktop-base/lines-theme/grub/grub-16x9.png

에 링크 되어 있다.

설정 파일 잘못 건드리면 어려운 상황(부팅이 안 된다거나...) 될 수 있으니, 이미지만 바꾸어보자

gimp 에서 1*1 픽셀 검정색 이미지 만들어서 다른 이름으로 내보내기. 

파일 이름은 b1.png

cp b1.png /usr/share/desktop-base/lines-theme/grub/grub-16x9.png

다시 한번 

update-grub

재부팅해보면 바뀐 배경이 있는 grub 화면을 볼 수 있다.
